STAN WAN

Photography

When he was a pre-med major at UC Berkeley, Stan started photo classes as a relief from the pressures of medical school.

His photography professor (previously a photographer with Life magazine) quickly noticed his potential and implored him to follow a different path.

While he started out as an assistant to San Francisco based Milton Halberstadt (food and still life), Wan moved on to become a fashion photographer, first in NYC, and then across Europe.

Credits to his name include “Where Sleeping Dogs Lie,” published by Stewart, Taboori and Chang.
